Playa del Carmen Hotels

Playa del Carmen has many small hotels located throughout town. You might be able to save some money if you are willing to stay at a hotel that is a few blocks from the beach and downtown areas.

There are still some more upscale hotels that are pricier located outside to the tourist zone, too. You might just prefer to be in an area that isn't as full of action as 5th Avenue or the beach.

Most of the hotels on this page are located a within a block or two of 5th Avenue. There are several hotels located on the North side of Playa del Carmen, and a few blocks from the North Beach area by Mamita's and El Tukan Beach Clubs. There are a few hotels located just a few blocks from 5th Avenue and the ferry pier, but on the other side of Juarez, towards Playacar. It shouldn't take you more than a few to 15 minutes to walk downtown or to the beach.
